High School Recognition Program

The High School Recognition Program was established to celebrate the success of Ivanof Bay Tribe’s high school graduates. It impresses upon tribal youth the importance of pursuing educational goals at an early age, and hopes to promote continued education through higher education or vocational education.

When is the deadline to submit an application?

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year upon successful graduation of high school students. Applications must be submitted within three months from graduation date.

When will I receive the recognition money if approved?

Recognition funds are dispersed within two (2) to four (4) weeks after receipt and approval of complete application.

Higher Education Scholarship Program

The scholarship program was established to financially assist tribal students in reaching their higher education goals. Higher education, for the purposes of this program, is defined as pursuing an associate, bachelor, or graduate degree.

When is the deadline to submit an application?

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

When will I receive the scholarship money if approved?

Scholarship funds are dispersed within two (2) to four (4) weeks following receipt and approval of complete application or receipt of official transcripts for continuing students.

Click here for a PDF copy of the Higher Education Transcript Submission form. The Transcript Submission form is only used for continuing students whose Higher Education application has been submitted and accepted in a previous semester.

Healthy Families Program

The Healthy Families Program encourages tribal members to engage in healthy activities such as beading, salsa lessons, etc.

The program is currently closed.

How does the program work?

The Healthy Families Program works on a reimbursable basis. Tribal members pay upfront for the cost of the activity then submit a receipt with a complete application to receive the reimbursement.

The Healthy Families Program is not a year-round program. Tribal members will be notified when the program period is open.

The previous program cycle was from 11/29/2023 to 3/20/2024; the current program cycle closed.

An application will be available when the program opens.

Back-to-School Supply Subsidy Program

The Back-to-School Supply Subsidy Program allows K-12 students who are tribally enrolled to apply to be reimbursed up to a certain amount for the cost of eligible school supplies.

The 2024/2025 School Supply Subsidy Program is currently closed.

Can I submit an application for more than one child on a single form?

Yes. Families must submit one form for all children.
